We love this idea for a desk set-up. And thanks to the step-by-step instructions Lifehacker links to, you can do it for yourself for about $40.
Van Mardian shows how he used pegboard to mount on the underside of his desk all of the peripherals that would otherwise be on top of his desk.
The beauty is in the increased available space and streamlined look.
Other readers have submitted their ideas to him, and he's posted those pictures, along with FAQs, at the bottom of his instructions page--one uses a Lack console table, and appears to be a computer set up in a living room.
